One adopted by Janet Mills in memory of Keith Mills
These three brass gauges are mounted on a board on the wall of the Pumping Station. They indicate the boiler steam pressure, the vacuum in the condenser, and the water pressure in the pipe to the sewage farm at Milton. The Pumping Station's engine driver needed to monitor these gauges at all times and adjust the engines as necessary in order to keep the sewage at a certain level in the well.
Janet Mills has adopted this object. There are two adoptions remaining.
