David Stubbings, Chairman of Chesterton Local History Society, presents a history of Cambridge’s first public-transport system on the streets of Cambridge: Cambridge Street Tramways.

David has previously explored the history of ferries across the river Cam; in this webinar he continues his exploration of “lost” methods of transport in Cambridge.

This video features exhibits from both Cambridge Museum of Technology and Ipswich Transport Museum. as well as transport publications and local-history collections (Cambridgeshire Collection).
