Alice decided to use the ash carts as her object of inspiration, designing a two person-per-cart tour moving mechanically along a track. Her visitors would be able to take in the scenic river, before moving up an incline towards the main of the building and through the ash tunnel, whilst listening to an educational audio guide of the museum and the industrial past of Cambridge. Below is her isometric burst of her newly designed people-carrying ash cart.

As the tour progresses, the ash carts would pass onto a hydraulic lift and descend into a specially designed tunnel. Visitors would be able to view displays on both sides with a flexible LED module projecting images throughout the tour.
