Sibilla decided to focus on an object to see explore the relationship between narrative and emotion. She chose the bomb shelter which is designed to hold one or two people and to protect them from falling shrapnel.
Sibilla designed an 'emotion swing' using the dimensions of the bomb shelter. She wanted to create an object where the design encouraged a sensory experience of the interior. She came up with the idea of an 'emotion swing journey' giving the effect of 'continual motion' whilst inside a suspended shelter. It would fit up to four people at a time.
Sibilla's visitors would be able to get inside the suspended emotion swing and test their balance by jumping and swinging around. A projector would be taking your photo as you bounced around which would be suspended by two high-strength ropes from the outside of the museum.
