Happy International Women in Engineering Day!
Today is a day to celebrate all the wonderful work #womenengineers do across the world, and where better to start than at our Museum! We are very grateful to have worked with some awesome engineers in the past, and more recently this includes Jinx St. Leger, who headed our boiler project, which brought steam back to the Museum.
Jinx has been honoured by the Science Museum with a place in their permanent Engineers Exhibition, and we couldn't think of a more deserving person! Jinx is passionate about mechanical engineering, and got into it through getting to see working steam engines while she was a child.
