We are thrilled to announce that Heritage Lottery Fund has confirmed a grant of £1.32 million for ‘Steam, Sewage and Semiconductors: Preserving the Industrial History of Cambridge’.
An exhibition and performance exploring identity ...
On Wednesday 11 May 2016 Cambridge School of Art second-year students previewed their installations at the Cambridge Museum of Technology.
A group of Museum volunteers led by Les Lawrence entered a team in the Chariots of Fire race in aid of EACH. Regular training sessions paid off and the Museum of Technology Super Steamers came well up the field.
The museum is delighted to be taking part in Memories in the Community: Stories of My Life. This Lottery funded project run by Museums in Cambridgeshire aims to capture the memories and personal histories of older people in the county. We’ll be preparing two specially designed reminiscence boxes containing objects and documents to help spark memories.
