Cambridge Museum of Technology Seeks Trustees

The Cambridge Museum of Technology on Riverside is looking for new Trustees to help guide its future.

Housed in the city’s Victorian sewage pumping station, the Museum preserves a unique part of Cambridge’s history, showcasing working steam, gas, and electric engines alongside stories of local industry. It is also a lively community hub, hosting family events, school visits, workshops, and steam days.

Trustees are critical, unremunerated roles that shape the Museum’s future, from safeguarding its historic buildings to supporting education and community activities. The Museum is particularly keen to welcome people who live locally (including in CB5) and who can bring a range of experiences and perspectives. Prior experience as a trustee is not required — enthusiasm, ideas, and a commitment to the community are most important.

No previous trustee experience is required, just enthusiasm, ideas, and commitment.
