The Management Committee and Trustees of the Museum have completed a comprehensive review of admission pricing and will introduce a new, simplified ticket structure from 1 April.

The updated approach is designed to make the museum even more attractive to families while addressing the financial pressures caused by sustained high inflation over recent years.

Nick Plaister (Trustee) said: “We are committed to ensuring the Museum remains accessible, welcoming, and great value for families. These changes simplify our pricing and help us continue delivering a high-quality visitor experience.”

Under the new pricing structure:

  • Children under 16 will enjoy free admission, when accompanied by a ticket‑holding adult.

  • Adult tickets will be £7

  • Concession tickets will be £6
