Museum volunteers to present film compilation of industrial life in East Anglia
Cambridge Museum of Technology volunteers James Klima and Gordon Davies will guest-present a video-essay compilation of industrial life in East Anglia at the Association for Industrial Archaeology’s 2026 annual conference.
This in-person session (19:00~21:30 BST on Tuesday 8 September 2026, at the Mercure hotel, Norwich will take participants on a 'screen tour' of all of the sites visited in East Anglia by the 2026 conference tours. The session will be interactive: participants are invited to crowdsource their knowledge of people, places, industrial locations and machinery.
Tickets (£30, includes two-course dinner prior to screening) must be booked in advance via the Association for Industrial Archaeology conference website. Please note that this session is part of an AIA-organised event (not a Museum or CIAG event) and that all event enquiries ought to be directed via the AIA.
