On Sunday 18th September 2016 a relay team representing Cambridge Museum of Technology participated in the 2016 Cambridge Chariots of Fire to raise funds for the Papworth Hospital Charity.
A garden party hosted by the Cambridge Museum of Technology on 4 July 2016 welcomed patrons, founders, members, volunteers and guests from the neighbourhood to look back to the founding of the museum in the 1960s to preserve the industrial heritage of Cambridge, and ahead to the revitalisation of the museum and the Engineer's House.
